Orphanages & charities needing Christmas help

Instead of just being in a lousy mood over the fact that I cant go home this Christmas/Chanukah to be with my family, I have decided instead to use my time to do some good and am thinking about going to some kind of orphanage here in Munich maybe for immigrant children, Im not sure yet.. and just try to help out and do what I can to give them a nice Christmas..

Does anyone know of any orphanages or charities that are looking for assistance on Christmas day?

No. Nothing. Im surprised. I thought someone would know of something somewhere. I dont want to just go out and get pissed on one glass of chardonnay too many.. would really like to do something nice this year..

I figured, they cant be with their family over the holidays and neither can I, so lets make the most of it.. do you know of any charity that could use assistance?
