Music festival: Rock im Park

Rock Im Park, the twin sister event to Rock Am Ring (at Nürburgring) has announced some of the line-up:

There is no real rock act there yet (Korn are shite), I can see Rammstein as a possible as they will be doing a festival tour this year and are currently the best live show around. Santana would also be a possible as they will be in Germany at the time and have played these festivals before. The good thing about these ones is that they tend to group bands into themes so a heavy night, a Brit Pop one...
Remember that these are MTV festivals so it is also a chance to see bands which are much bigger in North America than here (hence Bush playing there when no-one had really heard them here) as the concerts are filmed for transmission.

It is pretty cheap to get there on a BayernTicket (they now also apply to local transport in N'berg).

Metallica have confirmed their performance at Rock im Park.
Goldfrapp also confirmed.

but thats amazing, one of the bands i was always pissed of fid never be able to see because theyd split and that...

YEAH! Alice in Chains! I half want to go just for that! The other half is wanting to see TOOL and OPETH and DEFTONES. Comin from australia, this pisses all over Big Day Out down there, which seems to get worse and worse each year...and they keep bringing back the same damn people every other year!

...so if you buy a Tageskarte for one of the days (only wish I could be there for all three!), is it up in the air who will be playing that day or is there some sort of schedule?

Well, it's not entirely a shot in the dark. You can find when individual bands are playing there, because they usually have it listed on their own websites. I have gathered the following info for the bands I wish to see...
