My german based supplier has REALLY REALLY pissed me off now.
Been chasing my stocks (pre-ordered and allocated to me months ago) every day for 2 friggin weeks. Get no return calls, lies, stalling etc. I speak to head office in Hamburg on Monday to get the truth and they say without fail with me very latest Thursday.
Thursday has come and gone. I have been waiting to fly to London since last week to try and help a friend who's husband has terminal cancer, but cannot consider going until these stocks are in and out to my customers.
As it happens tomorrow my mate also flys into Salzburg to come boarding for the weekend. So he is on his own for the day with no transport etc, and I am sitting here waiting for stocks.
I'm soooooooooooo fucking angry I could punch the bastards. AAAAAGGGHHHHHH. And I never lose my temper.
German efficiency? Don't make me laugh.

this dont help with ur rant but i am curious. what is it that u do?
We could tell you SG but we'ld have to kill you afterwards.
@JE Have you tried the "I'm contacting my lawyer" phonecall ? It seems to put the skids under 'em here very quickly.
One thing you get a lot of here is the following: in a situation where a certain part of a process is a smidgin outside somebody's area of responsibilty then they have no problem ignoring it. I've seen projects grind to a halt because nobody would chase up a missing order that was waiting in a warehouse.

I do too many things frankly. This increases the possibility of something going wrong. In this case the timing could not be worse to really nark me off. It is a load of SAD therapy lamps - and I have lots of customers awaiting delivery.
Longer story is that the agent I deal with was on "credit hold" with head office - but he was keeping the truth from me. So my stock was there but not being shipped. Head office will probably take me over as a direct account now anyway. Lucky my German wife stepped in.

@ JE - sounds like shit logistics...maybe you should suggest a different logistics partner to your supplier. I have just the guy if you are interested.

Not really a logistics issue I think. It is basically:
Head Office in Hamburg has appointed Herr.Aalglatt as their official rep/distributor for the Bavarian area. So all new accounts MUST deal with this guy. Herr. Aalglatt however gets on hold with head office - basically for late payment of bills etc (even though I pay all mine to him for example in 10 days). So head office puts all his orders on hold, and he blames it on head office.
Aalglatt ? Please tell me that's his real name. If it is it's excellent.
It means slippery as an eel for anyone who doesn't know.

Yeah, I saw that you had editted your above post. I'm too lazy to erase the one I posted, so there.

Obviously Aalglatt is not his real name dude! But he is a slippery fucker.
Most of my customers are in the UK, and then I use the wife for German lingerie customers etc.

@ Keydeck -

dammit all you are too fucking quick!

I won't bother editting my stupid spelling mistake. have a good laugh.
You've obviously never heard of shuttering ? Apparently it's like cottaging only more noisy.

Notice that Keydeck posted a pic of a 'Goods In' shutter. A freudian post? I think not...
Why don't your supplier use one of them 38JJ bras and catapult the shipment down?

While we're correcting spelling, it's "smidgen"

Johnny English "travels in ladies underwear," that must make an interesting picture.

Umm... kinda diverging from topic, but if you know where to find 38JJ bras in this land of flat chicks, could you kindly direct me where I can find a good variety of 34DDs or 32Es? Also, where do they sell trousers for women with hips? Last time I did some serious shopping, the saleslady basically said, "waist so small, hips so wide... sorry!"

Try
http://www.bravissimo.com, they specialize in "big boobed" girls bras.

Why go to bravissimo when you can buy from Johnny English?
Androv Dessous, you can pay in €, quick delivery and I've been very happy with what I've bought.
For trousers for girls with hips, go to the UK. Forget it in Germany unless you have a good tailor prepared to do alterations.
