Indian restaurants in Heidelberg

I have a couple friends living in Heidelberg this year and they really enjoy this place. Dosas, Idlis, etc. Just to post it so it doesn't get forgotten - and maybe my friends will get around to registering and then they can post their own reviews.

Has anyone been?

Hmm, have never heard of it or seen it, is the place still open? I normally go to the India Palace, which is on a side street off the fussganger zone, or to The Moghul, which is just over the bridge from Bismarkplatz. Will defo try this one though.

There is a place called Raja Rani.

If you go towards the end of high street, the hauptstrasse, it's in one of the side streets near a Turkish restaurant. They have two branches. One a fastfood type, the other is more formal. The Chole Bhature there, that's Indian fried bread and chick beans curry, are wicked.

There are two Indian take-away places that are cheap and good on Plöck right next to each other. I have never been to any Indian restaurants in Heidelberg though.
