With a breath transparent you come to us,
White and pure,
You're here between sunlight and sighs.
Letters dropped by Nature or feathers lost by angels?
Memories about you are sparkling in the silence.
Such crystal notes were shining among the childhood's ballads,
In my clear consciousness of the hovering pain,
Your touch is as soft as Mother's kiss.
As the sea was sleeping in her blue dreams,
I came upon you on the same late afternoon,
In the finest sprays,
What were you singing and what were you telling to me?
The lamp casts the grey shadow of mine,
On the tip of the pine trees,
Your tears are split into the twinkling stars.
And I hear your answers in the lane.
No more lingering in the fleeting bitterness;
No more sighing over the vacant days.
Go on seeking the dreams you had,
And you'll see me smiling again on the road.
--- daub here for my first taste of the bad teeth
