Exporting a car from Germany, importing to Ireland

Hi all,

I am looking for anyone who has had experience importing a car into Ireland. Does anyone know of anybody who has done this or any forums for Paddys living in German (or Europe as a whole). I know there are loadsof Paddys on Toytown but I posted a few questions about car imports and didn't really find anyone with direct experience so I'd like to spread the net a bit wider.

The Irish government's oasis website covers vehicle import into Ireland. If you can read German, the Munich city website covers exporting a vehicle, though a web search would surely find more and better info.
