Fla.St is ACC Perdido. rolleyes.gif

@Hazza, Bowl Games have been going on since the 19th of December. Two of tonight's games are bowls that started in the 70's, the other (Texas Bowl) started 6 years ago. The Independence and Holiday Bowls are borderline real bowl games. The first real bowl games being played are the Sun and the Liberty Bowls. The other real bowl games outside the BCS are the Peach, Tangerine, Cotton and Gator Bowls. Although the Peach and the Tangerine have new stupid names and the All-Star games aren't even worth mentioning anymore.

The ones that no longer exist but should are the:
Bluebonnet Bowl
The Blue-Grey Classic
The Hall of Fame Bowl (moved and now called the Outback Bowl)
The Aloha Bowl

Honorable mention is the Salad Bowl just cause it has a cool name. tongue.gif

Thanks for the info, Eurovol. I have no real idea on this - except that the Orange Bowl and the Sugar Bowl are 2 of the bigger and more traditional games.

Still, we'll show what's demanded and if it's not advertised, then it's probably still available. So just shoot me a PM and I'll probably be able to accommodate you...

For anyone who didn't see it, check out the highlights of Boise State's incredible victory over Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl.
Fox Sports Fiesta Bowl higlights.
3 trick plays to force overtime and then win it and stay undefeated.

Very funny column on the above at Salon.com:

QUOTE
Boise State's incredible 43-42 overtime win over Oklahoma featured three touchdowns in the final 86 seconds of regulation, a hook-and-ladder play for the tying score by Boise State on fourth-and-18 with 18 seconds to go, a direct-snap wide receiver pass for a touchdown in overtime by the Broncos -- also on fourth down, because, you know, when else? -- and the winning two-point conversion coming on a Statue of Liberty play.

Boise State did everything but line up Harpo in the backfield. For those of you wondering what a hook-and-ladder or Statue of Liberty play might be, please consult your "Collegiate Foot Ball Fanatic's Handbook," 1926 edition, which has some nice illustrations.

I'm watching the game at home now on NASN. smile.gif

Phone The Arc. If it's available I'm sure they'd show it for you...so long as it doesn't interfere with the quiz night.
gator
Thanks so much, they've got it at 1:30am! A little late for me:( But good to know also for future reference-

Announcing of starting lineup and some festivities start at 1:30AM, but the game itself is scheduled 2AM. I'm heading to bed right now and my buddy will call me at the start of the 4th quarter to check it out.

for the uninitiated, what sport are we talking about and more so which country? (I do believe we have a few) and lastly you cheering yourself. unsure.gif

I do believe there is the kabbadi national championship of Sri-Lanka that is going on these days available on UK TV Ch 4, is the arc showing it?

If you call and complain about the time difference and all, I am sure that they will start it earlier for you. rolleyes.gif

Well, Florida just proved how over-rated OSU were and just how under-rated the SEC is. tongue.gif
Yeah I know, Tennessee didn't do its part against PSU, but at least we were in that game. ph34r.gif
