You say you are swiss but your profile says Australian?
Word of warning to potential buyers,
1) The tickets this person alledgedly has have not been issued yet; eg he doesnt have them in his hand.
2) The tickets will be in his name...unless he works for a company that is sponsoring the event, then it is in their name. Point being, if you get stopped with the tickets and you cannot prove you are the person on the ticket, then you arent seeing any live football, the tickets will be taken off you.

It also costs extra (75 each I believe) to transfer the tix, but there needs to be a legit reason.

"Not going to be in Germany during world cup" should be a legit reason though, no?

C'mon, gotta give the guy a break on this one. Let's face it would anybody except a Swissman really be masochistic enough to go and splash out on Tickets to watch the swiss national side. I think he should post "at face value" and if they are not he should post what he is after. Then we can turn him into the Feds for a good shinning at least for touting world cup wares..

Actually, no! Well, not exactly. He could get away with saying that he is unavailable for going, but thousands upon thousands of people have bought tickets that don't live in Germany.

Yes, but I think most of the people who don't live in Germany that bought tickets, are planning to attend (especially with the whole "checking ID's thing going on).
Anyway, the seller should find out whether this would be possible in his situation.

How do you know you have tickets for the Swiss games? I thought groups weren't decided until Dec 9th, and that until then, people just bought tickets for games without knowing who would be in them...
Also, what's the breakup of the 5 tickets? Is it 5 tix for one game? (you wrote games in plural, though)

Enlighten a confused man, please.

You could buy tixs for stadium or for team. If your team didn't make it, then you can return the tix to be put into the pool. I registered for this pool, but haven't heard anything yet. You will be able to register once again for local in about two weeks.

It was the same deal with the tickets at Euro 2004, they never checked the tickets once. Pretty hard to make sure 80,000 people get in a stadium in a 1 hour period. Even harder to check everyone's passport too.

Allright, to make things clear:
1.this is the account of my aussie mate i´m going to australia with in a month time.
2. you even apply for tickets in several citys or tst series follow your team, i did that for switzerland, paid for it and get my tickets 6 to 8 weeks before the worldcup. got 1 ticket for 5 games! till the quarter final, if switzerlands out before what i don´t hope i can watch the games of the team that kicked our ass, could be england for example, we gonna figure that out on the 9th of december!
3. At the time i applied for the tickets i wasn´t meant to go to oz but my plans changed!
4. how the fuck, seriously, are they gonna check 60´000 passports at the stadium, it would take half a day to bring everyone in the stadium!!!
5. nothing is gonna be done online, who ever buys the tickets will meet with a friend of mine in munich, cash against tickets!
6. for fuck sake i´m not gonna sell the tickets for the amount i bought them, i now it´s wrong and not in the name of the sport... if it´s not gonna happen here i´m gonna personally write letters to rich swiss people, whateva...
hope i brought a bit of clearness in the game..
cheers buds

Why wouldn't you just open your own account? Still sounds a little fishy...

I was at the 2002 WC in Korea/Japan ... and they were checking IDs. Random though.
Aussieboy, why don't you check out FIFA.com ...
After the final draw, December 9th, there will be a online WC ticket exchange platform where you can change and trade tickets.
Although, selling may be an issue ... you'll have to see; not sure a lot of people want to pay an extra 75 Euro/ticket to change the ownership details.

I thought to transfer the tickets the cost was only 10 €. Here is the
link.
"12. In the event of a transfer of a Ticket in accordance with No. 3 GTC T, a new ticket shall be issued by FWCTC at the transferee's expense (€ 10,- per ticket)."

Starting today at noon you can
register for your favorite game, closing date is 15 January 2006. Very few chances of decent, affordable tickets but worth a try. I'm going for Oz/Brasil myself
