I don't know if this has been mentioned before but I've been getting this little booklet thingy called "How To Germany" delivered to my door now for a number of years and it's got allsorts of useful info in it for expats. The new one (for 2004) arrived yesterday.

Here's the webpage:http://www.howtogermany.com/

Is it useful to those of us who have been around for quite a while, or is it more of a newcomer thing?

I suppose it's more of a newcomer thing. It's a great summary about allsorts of info for expats in Germany. Although it's for all varieties of enlgish-speakers, it tends to be slanted for the americans amongst us.

Nice website - but no-where does it tell you how to get the paper version...

Guess you have to ask nicely to become address number 751 in Germany smile.gif

Quote from site:

"Distribution is by request only. The magazine is provided free of charge. 25,000 copies are sent to over 750 addresses throughout Germany"

Although if i ordered one, i wouldn't want 34 copies at my address.

ps, the quote came from clicking first link on 'advertising', then scroll to bottom, click next page, then its about 1/3 of the way down.
