Ordinary members have a twenty minute time window within which to edit a post after first submiting it.
The "edit" button is located to the lower right of the post and it looks like this:

The edit window is extended to three hours for members with a
supporters subscription.

Hi, I wanted to edit a post I wrote when signed in earlier. It doesn't seem possible here, but I have edited on other sites. Can anyone help? Thx!

Easy, you do a search (top right, red, bold and underlined) for "edit" and read
the result. In your case the 20 minute limit has elapsed.

20 minutes! You gotta have "buyer's remorse" really fast around here, then!

No, if you "buy" the service, you get 3 hours. It's only if you use it for free that you must decide in 20mins.

@funf, actually I would refer to it as "seller's remorse". Just how much time do you really need to do your "shopping" correctly? Twenty minutes is pretty generous.
