How to update bank account info on Paypal

So here i am browsing on ebay for christmas ideas may be... and then i realized i have no clue how to pay with my german bank account. basically i went into paypal and in the profile section there is an option for "Bank Account", where you can remove or add accounts. the problem is that the only option is for other US accounts, using routing numbers on your check (checks, so retarded and old-fashioned!!). anyways, has anyone done this successfully, updated your paypal with a new german account? Many thanks for suggestions!!

PS. and the option for credit card won't work either cause you have to have visa/mastercard logo on it, which most debit cards have in the US but NOT my EC card here!!

I suspect (but don't know) that the bank accounts you can add depend on the country of your profile. My profile bases me in Germany, and I only have the option to enter German or (curiously) US bank details...

Because an EC card is not a credit card, and is operated under a different umbrella to Visa and Mastercard.

There's no way to do it. You have to open up a separate international account.
