Hi,
I'm trying to find a nice place to have a Christmas dinner/gathering for a group of about 20-25 people. Saturday night before Christmas. Preferrably somewhere Italian (but not a must) and is a bit more dressy for attire.
Anyone been to Nero?
Any recommendations?
Thanks in advance

Nero has very nice pizzas, thin crusts and tasty. But aren't you leaving things very late?

La Vecchia Masseria is a nice posh-ish Italian place.
I've been there and to Nero, I'd say LVM is a bit cosier and more "gemütlich". Nero has more of a modern vibe.
There is also a nice place on Nymphenburgerstr, it's a Südtirol place, but I can't for the life of me remember the name of it. I went there with Saan one time, maybe she will remember the name when she gets online. We had a fabulous meal.
But whichever one you choose, Special Miss K is right, you'd best get your skates on.

Hofbräukeller at Wiener Platz, they have some great menu selections and a very pleasant separate room. We had a whole roast suckling pig there once (16 ppl.) with Knödel and various salads.
