Hi,
if you have bad credit history in the uk does it affect you in germany? Also would it affect your chances of getting a job over there?

Jo not unless you were maybe looking to work in a bank.
Right now a bad UK credit rating will not weffect you in Germany but of course you'll have to get a German credit record as well, called SCHÜFA. But it MIGHT become an issue in the future as finace companies integrate.

Bear in mind that having no credit rating can often be just as bad as having a bad one...

you can be pursued for British debts in Germany though. If its just the rating itself then nothing to worry about really (apart from that you'll have no rating in Germany anyway!)
