Irina and I are 2 blondes. That may help you ID us. I will prolly be wearing a white jacket. @ Brummie: yes passport required... and we will get 2 bayern tix for and this will cover us for up to 10 people.

everybody is more then welcome to come along, come along Brummie

I'll be wearing a white jacket too. Btw, I am Irina
Just look for a crowd which looks wrecked and hungover and the mumbling will be some sort of english smile.gif

So, after the two blondes in white jackets and 9 other mad TT's managed to go to "porky" Salzburg and buildings "called the Dome", we agreed that Munich beer is unbeatable biggrin.gif
Tickets were 4,40€ and weather was alright. Salzburg definitely is a good destination for a daytrip, even if ur hungover and have to do some running to catch the train in british efficiency wink.gif
We left at 09:42 and arrived back in Munich around half ten, which still gave us enough time to go out for the ones who haven't got enough of TT yet.
It was an easy day (not too much sightseeing, not too much bierkellers) and definitely calling for some more daytrips I guess.
Btw, food in Augustiner Bierkeller (MüllnerBräu) really sucks smile.gif

Can somebody send me the pics as I haven't made any myself??? Please...

Sorry I missed this. I only just arrived in Munich yesterday after taking the train from Vienna (through Salzburg, though I had no time to do anything there).

I do want to see Salzburg, though, and need to go anyway to buy some more credit for my T-Mobile Austria phone (thought I could buy some here; thought wrong), so if anyone who missed this trip wants a trip next weekend I’m game.

I´ll be heading there on Sat the 7th?? of may... too lazy to check the calender. Anyone else is welcome to join. DrivingWest I think wants to go over Easter though??

Props to Bubbly & Presh for getting this idea into motion. Because of the trip I got to Salzburg cheaply, got my chocolates, and saw parts of the town I hadn't seen before.

Props to Bubbly for imbuing the group with momentum & cultural information once we landed in Ösiland.

Carn West... do it! It will be heaps of fun and we have a 2 hr train trip in which you can sleep off the hangover...

Whoaaa. Presh, in the movies they call this sort of statement foreshadowing.. In your case, was it psychic vision? Poetic fatalism? *tzzz* tongue.gif Hope you're feeling better now though. smile.gif

Cheers to Presh and Bubbly for orgainsing the trip even though they managed to be amongst the last ones to arrive in the morning. smile.gif

I think that Bubbly would make an excellent tour guide because she did a great job on Saturday! Although she does have a weird fascination with the word 'porky'.

It was a great day and incident free apart from one of the TT crew getting told off in a church by an angry old Austrian guy. Who would have thought that having your hands in your pockets in a church was such a huge crime?

This was my first but definitely not my last outing with the TT gang.

Yeah I had such a good time! Thanks everybody for turning up and being such good touring buddies. Apologies to all for any short comments or whining on my behalf... I can´t believe that I was that hungover!! It was great meeting some new faces and I hope that we see you guys out again soon! biggrin.gif
