Track and field live on television

Sorry if this is a duplicate...

I am a big track and field buff. Are T&F events televised regularly in Munich/Germany? Maybe satellite TV (which I don't have yet)? Are there live events held here in Munich or nearby? Couldn't find anything in the search...

they're usually shown on on Eurosport

i wouldn't mind going along if you find a live event locally - it's fun to watch track and field

I will also search on World Track and Field site to see if they list anything as well. Will let you know any info. Would love a co-spectator if I find anything...

During the outdoor season the terrestrial channels up to now have shown a lot of athletics, all the big meets, so you don't need a dish for that, but you have to put up with German commentary.

I'm not aware of any regular annual international events in Munich, but then there are a lot of things I'm not aware of.

there's a meet in Stuttgart next September that will probably attract a lot of big names

i too would like to go watch a meet live. i used to be on a T&F team (back in the day b/f i was rollypolly)
