Concert: The Levellers @ Ampere

Yep, the finest band to come out of Brighton are back again. This should be a quality show at IMHO the best live music venue in town. To those who appreciate great live music and who are at a loose end this evening, I am sure tickets will be available on the door.

Wow, Levellers tonight? Never heard about that. Blagged my way in to one of their gigs years ago out in Pasing. Met the band and played football with them. When the gig was starting I went to the bar and ordered a beer. When I offered to pay I was told, " You're with the band, you don't have to pay"! Well, I promptly sat my arse on a bar stool and got totally bladdered for nothing. Even got a free t-shirt from the merchandise guy. Been to a few of their gigs since and they always remember me. Good bunch of guys.
