Someone mentioned a few days ago about the two trannies, (dunno if I can spell transvestites properly), who go around Munich. They got on my u-bahn a couple of hours ago. One was wearing the shortest of shorts and the other had a 'tasche. Flamboyantly dressed as per usual, handbags the lot. Now, I'd like to think of myself as being quite liberal but these guys just made me feel sick. Everyone else were sniggering away but I was just repulsed. They didn't look very happy to me, but maybe they just had a tiff. I've seen them having a go at each other before and they can be quite bitchy. I know all about live and let live but why did they make my stomach turn? Before someone else says it I'm not a closet tranny so that wasn't the reason. Love to see them walk through my home town dressed like that. They wouldn't last two minutes.

There's another discussion here that includes lots about these two -
Nutters, freaks, and wierdos spotted around Munich. They get noticed by TT'ers a lot, and always look like they've just had a tiff. I think they're cute, and they don't do any harm. Brightens my day when I see them.
As to why they made your stomach turn? No idea. What did you eat for lunch?

I remember when "tranny" meant "radio".
Those were the days.
We are not all as old and innocent as you mate.

Not meant to be a pun. Trannies who go round like that have more bollocks in their varnished little finger nail that a dozen "hard blokes" put together.

This couple were first reported on TT back in August 2003:
QUOTE (karambos @ Aug 28 2003, 9:33 am)

OK what about the two gays who look like brothers (or sisters now that they've obviously been taking hormones to grow breasts) who ALWAYS wear hot pants and skinny tops regardless of whether it's like bleak midwinter or sweltering summer. Any one know what I'm on about?
I saw the same couple going into the O2 shop on Marienplatz the other day.
We badly need a photo.

I like the fact that he feels so secure as a man, he doesn't feel threatened by their presence.
Not everyone is born to feel good in their body, so they make changes as they deem necessary. They aren't hurting you, so where is the problem.

I saw the two nutters at Sendlinger Tor a few weeks ago I meant to try and take a pic of them with my phone but I was driving and the traffic lights went green! they were wearing yellow this time...teeny tiny pants and cropped tops.
wonder what their story is...someone must know them!

I know exactly what you mean. Personally, I think that the rather queasy feeling I get could easily be chalked up to my suspicion that they are siblings. They certainly look enough alike to be. And I think that's where it goes weird for me, because if they are...err...and if they aren't, what drove them to pick a mate that looked so much like themselves?
Perhaps I've a thing against narcissism? Sort of like the Cruise/Cruz Paris/Paris couplings...just generally makes me feel a bit green around the gills. Only with these two, it looks to be more than just a name.
Man, under the topic of which
Munich Nutters would win in a cage match: I wish the
rat people and the tranny twins would have it out. That would be a hard call. Course its easy to say peeps with rats must have cojones but the trannies, well I guess they got cojones plus stilletos and a handbag. Hard call really.

@ Topsy..I can tolerate them and don't think I was being bigoted..If they made me feel sick then so be it.I can't change that

OOOOHHHH! I saw these two at Walmart a month ago wearing bright lime green SEQUINED tube tops and matching tiny short-shorts with their little cheekies hanging out! I was in hysterics over the sight, and god bless them for making my Walmart experience a little more enjoyably weird. (that place can be so surreal sometimes... think it's the bad flourescent lighting and the 'Walmart Radio' jingle that plays over and over on the loudspeakers) Would love to know what their story is, and hey... everyone should just enjoy them. In a town with very few freaks (I'm from San Francisco area and have to admit I do miss the freaks!) this gives you a little taste of all the beautifully different people out there in the world. Completely funny and harmless.

They are a Munich landmark and the Sueddeutsche (or indeed TT) should do a piece on them and find out the answers to many questions:
Who are they?
Do they own more than one pair of hot pants?
What is their inspiration?
Why?
Do they ever get cold or do they just stay at home when it snows?
Do they care for the stares?
Is there a fan club?
The pair of them fascinate me frankly, I'm always pleased to hear of a sighting as it means that they are still ok.

I walked around a corner in the Pinakothek der Moderne to see this couple, dressed identically in leopard-print mini-skirts, scarlet red tube tops, furry leopard-print shawls, black stockings and red high heels. Both their heads were shaved and reflecting the bright museum lights. They were wearing lots of make-up (blue eyeshadow and red lipstick). They looked so alike the only difference seemed their height. They were standing in front of a painting, looking serious in their study of it. I wasn't sure if they were part of the exhibit or not! I finally concluded they were just visitors to the museum like me but it was a surreal moment.

The ones I know have long blonde hair and I've usually seen them either on the U4/U5 line or in Saturn on Schwanthalerstr. I'd probably put them about early to mid forties. Usually wearing hot-pants and long boots. Them, not me.

Aren't they gorgeous? I used to see them regularly in the streetcar 19 - in the summer they wore lemon-colored hot-pants and halter tops and long dangly bead necklaces. Not to mention 70-stlye bug-eyed sunglasses. Cruised the Maximilianstrasse on that tram.
Sounds like the Survivor mission #1 here. I think it's the same couple, if bald or blonde. I've seen them too, nearly fell off my bike craning my neck to see if it was really them. They were blonde at the time.

I have no idea if it is the same couple, but last year, in a clothes shop near the viktualien markt, in the driving snow, my wife and I saw a couple of chaps holding hands wearing outlandish clothes. Nothing remarkable in that but one had a live parrot on his shoulder (I had to look twice but I heard it before I saw it). They looked errrrrr, close (the two chaps, not the chaps and the parrot). Certainly turned a few heads!!

Nov 16 2005, 10:14 pm
That made me laugh!!! It was a green parrot. We heard a squawk and assumed it was kids messing around but these two chaps appeared and one had the aforementioned bird on his shoulder. I thought they were just messing around but the parrot squawked again and flapped its wings. The lovely threesome then wandered off towards marienplatz in the driving snow!!! Parrot didn't seem to mind.
I was also in Koblenz in the summer with my father in law and saw a giant bloke (I am 6' 3" and he towered over me) decked out in full leather "blue oyster club" garb, complete with leather hat and chain around it. It was hilarious because he had a tiny leather studded waistcoat on with a vast sun-burnt beer belly sticking out that was a geniune danger in a built up area. He did not seem to give a toss though. He was either "real" or a rugby player that was having to endure some sort of hideous punishment. My father in law nearly had a hernia through laughter!!!

Just saw the boys on the U4. This season we are going with a lot of pink. Bloke A was sporting a pair of pink flannel tracksuit bottoms and a white t-shirt and accessorised with a pink handbag. Bloke B had a pink sleeveless top on with leopardskin hotpants and white boots. Both are sporting fantastic leathery suntans. Schplendid!

Are they two middle aged guys, with blonde hair, wearing boots and open tops with nipple rings? I've seen them quite a few times in the summer walking around, waving their handbags. I guess you just have to accept that kind of thing living in a city where you can sunbath naked in a full view of the public on a sunday afternoon. Actually it could be any day of the week, if you can get the time off work!
