I was in the U-Bahn today, desperately waiting for my stop to arrive, when my eyes spotted a decent looking man in his 30's, formally dressed, sleeping at the Sendlier Tor station's platform. Then I also saw a young girl trying to wake him up and the man smiling in his sleep.
Did anyone else see him as well? It was 10ish this morning when I saw him.

Um. Did you find this unusual?? Or have you lost him or something?
Oh, wait... is this one of those "he was the man of my dreams and I let that other girl put her hands all over him and now I'll regret it forever" things?

I'm sorry, it was a heavy night, and I forgot to set my alarm clock...

If I had posted here every time I've seen something strange happening on the u-bahn (random tourette's outbreaks, ppl pissing themselves etc...)...

I saw a woman with red hair at the Lehel U-Bahn station. She was reading the AZ. I am not sure, but she may have been sitting next to a small girl. Did anyone else see her?

And no, I haven't seen the sleeping man at 10am. But I think I might have seen one last week. I can't be sure though. Could be the same guy.

Jeeze C4N just because Marshbot hit it on the nail in her first post doesn't mean you have to get deffensive. Theres absolutely nothing wrong with mentally fancying a decent looking, formally dressed, 30something year old bloke who happens to be passed out, I mean asleep, on an U-Bahn platform. Strangers in the night exchange glances and all that. Or whatever. As a matter of fact if you owned up to it, half of TT would probably be scouring the stations for you. This lot loves a romance as proven time and again.
Now if your just concerned for his safety, despite this being Munich, you could try ringing the polizei. If you really want to find out more about him, I'd say also try posting on Craigslist Munich - Missed Encounters as well as popping off a note to Expatica, Britboard and Minga.de Surely someone in this town saw your sleeping beauty.
Goodluck
Oh PS: Yes I just caught and corrected the Bahns for you.

Why the fuck are all of you making fun of Christine?
Her first post was obvious. She wanted to know if anyone else saw this unusual situtation in a central U-bahn station. Probably hoping that someone would comment on it to say "Yeah, that guy is always there" or "Yeah, I saw it and it was weird" or whatever.
All of you with your crappy lame attitudes should bugger off. It's funny when one person does it, perhaps even two, but now it's just gang mentality.
It was a decent post and nothing wrong with it.

Aye. If she "wanted to know if anyone else saw this unusual situtation in a central U-bahn station. Probably hoping that someone would comment on it to say "Yeah, that guy is always there" or "Yeah, I saw it and it was weird" or whatever." then she could always add "Is he always there? What do you think? Do you think this is weird? or is it only me?"

sorry for my response christine_4none, I didn't mean to upset you. Welcome to TT and I hope you have a great time when you are here.
Well im usually against ganging up, but in this case, the original question seemed bizzare, (does anyone know what the point is yet?) and that deserved a bit of minor pisstaking. But it was her reaction to the minor pisstaking that justified anything more ruthless that followed.
