I will probably be heading down to The Arc for this one. Made a day of last Saturday for the Wales game and had a great time, tomorrow should be even better. EDIT : Heres the full lineup of games at the arc.

Anyone else heading down or watching it elsewhere?
roots
That is so insensitive.

How could you even mention the B word on a day like this.?
bluedave
Saturday gonna be a sporting treat, headed down to the Outland to see England v Oz first at rugby followed by England v the Argies at footy followed by England v Pakistan in 1st test match at Cricket. Truly a red letter day probably seeing oblivion approaching by 10 laugh.gif

Topsy
m vaughn is sadly out of the test as well...
I suppose we should really have a test match thread, although we don't have as many pakistani TT'ers to wind up as we do Aussies sad.gif
Kza
Excuse me this is a Rugby Union thread. Can we split these league trolls off please?
Topsy

Rugby League is American Football for northerners
Topsy

when's the superbowl on again?
More tea, Vicar?
Me real fan.

Me flying to London next Friday and training to Cardiff Saturday a.m. to watch the glorious Boks hoof the Taffs into Thy Kingdon Come.
Ulysses
I tried American football, but it's even more boring than League. They seem to do more talking than actual playing.

Rugby Union is thegame they play in heaven-Because its DEAD boring! Also you dont need to run so it doesnt matter whether you are dead or alive.Just hope thgey dont hoof it every two seconds try running with it! tongue.gif

Seriously tho The ABs look as good as ever and Australia need some major changes 6 games without winning! Is this a Wallaby Record? I think sadly England will beat Australia by 10 Points.New Zealand will win by 20 against Ireland.I cant believe Matt Rogers is at 10 for Australia. He was an average winger in League who could Kick goals and could never imagine him having the top footballing skills to play Flyhalf!

usually end of January

I like Am Footy too. Don't follow it as much as I used too though (I used to go and watch the UK matches). Dolphins were always my favourite

I think you guys will do a lot better with your Lions back (obviously).

I bought 8 tickets from Munich on the day they went public, which thankfully was Bank Holiday Monday here. Just got 4 delivered to mum's in London. Waiting on t'other four.

Taking 7 reprobates up who are not Wales fans.

Flying on the BA flight at a cheeky time, but Fritz boss needs to learn the importance of rugby:

you on any of these flights?

shall be at The Arc or the engeland aus game, am hopefully bringing a aussie colleuge whos dying for a stuby of vb and a serious banter session.
More tea, Vicar?
I don't know who I want to do worse - england or oz? Its a tuff call, but I suppose an oz win would give me piss-take fodder. And the southern hemisphere mafia need to remain thick as thieves or else you "old rugby nations" will start getting even more airs and graces.
Yeti
My daughter is having her birthday party on Saturday and frankly I'ld rather argue with the Irish and All Blacks lineout than with her.

Why are these games always clashing with important other stuff. It was the same with the 5 nations. I blame The Arc. They should show these games live at some other time and fix the results as well while they're at it.

I mean if you can have a burger with wedgies instead of chips then why can't you have Ireland winning against the All-Blacks.

Simple solution, bring the daughters party down The Arc. Im too scared to expand this post to its full potential.
gideon
Ksa, i'm to scared to even let my mind wander down the road your's is already running along. did you leave nz willingly or were you hounded out?
Yeti
Kza you should know the fear.

I've had plenty of experience arguing, sorry discussing, sorry, engaging in meaningful dialogue with women but this pint size terror has me beat. Have to use the psychology bit and the full Jedi power.

She also has the foot stamping down pat so she can do a Haka.

More than 7000 rugby fans will be turned away from the All Blacks vs Ireland test match after a fire broke out in Lansdowne Road Stadium, it has been reported.

Associated Press (AP) reported the blaze was restricted to a small area under the North Terrace.

The Irish Rugby Football Union said the entire area must be closed until a full safety inspection was carried out, affecting around 7500 ticket holders in the 49,000-seat stadium.

Those carrying tickets to the North Terrance were asked not to come to the venue.

It is not known how many New Zealand spectators the closure will affect.

just got a txt from my mate who bought tickets for him and his girlfriend as a treat for game today. They flew yesterday from here to be told about the fire. He paid over the odds too for the tickets. Not a happy bunny sad.gif

Presume they will get a refund and / or first in queue for tickets for next game ?
