It's where I taught my wife to Ski, not bad an englander teaching abavarian. Söll is alright limited if you want more challenging runs. alsowatchout during the season it is the capital of English beginners skiresorts so can get really busy. We always stayed in a small farmhouse pension just outside the town. I never understood a word they said to me but they were friendly. I will ask my wife for the name and address

Quite a nice little resort but pretty low so you can get caught out with snow a bit depending on when in the season you go. We stayed at the Pension Schönblick (might actually be called Hotel Garni Schönblick now)as part of a package tour but really central, handy for the slopes and clean. We were half board and had dinner in the place next door. Not sure if you can stay there if not part of package holiday but worth checking out. Check out the
Söll website where you can search for accommodation online and get more resort info.

cheers for the tips. A friend of mine from home was interested in going there, she´d heard it was excellent, but my german and austrian colleagues think there are a lot of better places to go...
