Some bright spark in our office came up with the idea of having our Christmas party at one of those Ritteressen venues (eating with your fingers in ye olde medieval themed atmoshpere).
Question is, does anyone have any experience of these places in Munich ? Any recommendations ?

Try the Welser Küche im Feldherrnkeller at Residenz Strasse 27.
It is possible to travel back in time - at least if you wish to go back to the Middle Ages and take part at a banquet. During this 3-hour-long meal (you can choose between 5, 6 and 10 courses) you are expected to stick to medieval table manners for a genuine experience. Reservation required.

yeah, I ate at the Welser Küche a week or so ago, it was great. They can do english too. We had a GREAT time, they have special HB beer, as well, that I've never seen anywhere else. www.welser-kuche.de or info@welser-kuche.de
