Is the word dingly derived from dingleberry ? Because they aren't very good at falling and they don't seem to have much to do with snow either.

Nov 17 2005, 3:50 pm
yes, that picture is quite accurate for endresults... although, on that picture I´d say the snow is already ca 5-10 hours old...

Just got back from a 40min jog around town. Saw a few bonified, genuine snowflakes falling and a bit of light drizzle but nothing hardcore.

@mattiehh: Yeah, sure they clear the bike paths of snow...but they then become paths of pure ice usually. You could skate to work?? OK. My guess for snow is next Thursday. The sooner the better!!!
Pay up people.

I hadn't seen outside since 6pm. Been in a cellar working. So I thought I'd have a look.
Just cold and wet. No snow at all in Maxvorstadt at the moment.
When it's this cold, I prefer it to snow...

please see former posts predicting a layer of snow good enough to scrape together a gravelly snowball on friday morning! bingo.
In the interior of British Columbia this is what's known as 'Puking'.
As in: "Crap, it's puking, let's get first tracks".

My cat's traumatised. Let him out on the balcony and of course he tried to twat it. Large lump fell off the railing onto him head. Not a happy moggy by any stretch of the imagination. I know how he feels. Horrible white shit!

Hey! I was out of town for a long time and arrived yesterday..
When I woke up this morning, I saw this:

cool, ain't it?
Shit nothing like that here in Rosenheim. A little bit settled on the grass and car rooves, but its not currently snowing. Have to see what its like in Prien in a half hour or so...

you're an au pair, i hope? since you mentioned your dog, i thought, okay, those are her real children. but if you're an au pair, then the kids would have woken up their real parents, right?
not quite sure what to do with the snowfall. damn, i forgot to waterproof my shoes.
Oh I spoke too soon, NOW its snowing in Rosenheim. Shit should have got my winters on. Oh well on the bright side it just makes the autobahn more exciting.
Quality powder at 500m?

But go up a couple of kms, like in Vorarlberg z.B. and it will be a lot lighter...

@elfinstar-
yes au pair. dont worry i'm not 23 and have 2 kids. yes my dog- my dog is here with me so we have 2 dogs and 2 kids in the house.
The mom is in Berlin and the dad was asleep. anyway the kids come and wake me up all the time if they want to play or to crawl into bed w/ me or something. at times cute others not quite so...
so i guess i'm finding a benefit to being in Grunwald- it'll be fun to play in all the fields and forests in the snow!
