In Autumn 2004 Munich spawned its first ever English Comedy Club. The club brings top comedians over from London's vibrant comedy circuit to perform in Munich. Needless to say all shows are strictly 100% English language. This is the first such professional comedy club in Munich. And a very welcome addition to the scene it is too! Performances are once a month, either the first Sunday or Monday (alternating) of the month, at Substanz, a venue near Goetheplatz in Ludwigsvorstadt. The Monday shows are preceded by an "after work party".
