Well, I tried to make potato casserole, an easy dish I remember from my student days (i.e. you can buy the ingredients at Penny. It didn't work out so well...I think I forgot to season it.
Anyway here's what I did:
Potatoes - cut them into super-thin roundish slices using the grater
cream mixed with milk
Italian seasonings from the freezer
Carrots, zucchini
Parmesan cheese, grated (cause I didn't have any other cheese)
I layered the potatoes, carrots & zucchini up to the top of the casserole dish and then dumped the cream/milk/italian seasonings on top, and cooked it at 200 for about 40 minutes. Tastes horrible! I guess it's because I didn't put any salt or pepper in it?
