My company really uses a lot of Denglish, although our "official language" is of course English.
I'm trying to think of the correct words for Routine and Protocol. Protocol isn't that hard - in Am. English we would say meeting minutes, right? But Routine? Weekly meeting? Department meeting? Any ideas?

Since both of those words are already English, could you give an example of the usage?
woof.

To me "Routine" is a German word, I think it's been around for ages (not even sure if it is derived from English, is it really?). When I say "Routine-Meeting" (what a wonderful German word, nearly as good as your beloved "Wellness"), I mean a meeting that takes place regularly and where you do not expect to be surprised, i.e. it does not include any "special" or "unusual" decisions or actions. The best translation I can think of is something like "regular scheduled meeting" (though that doesn't fully capture the part that you shouldn't expect anything important to happen during such a meeting, because some "regular scheduled meetings" can have unusual significance, can't they?).
@kmuesli
I don't see anything wrong with your own suggestion (e.g. Daily / Weekly department meeting).

@tom_a

Wellness...my favorite word...
I agree with you about Routine...and ps. B.D. it's a Denglish word as far as I know, at least with this usage. Weekly departmental meeting is probably the best translation, but other suggestions are still welcome!
Protokol is another story. I know that you can "protocol" something, but normal people don't use this word as far as I know. "Take minutes" and "meeting minutes" is the best real translation I know. Any other suggestions?

where i work, the weekly meetings are called "jour fixe". and this is the largest european/german software company who also decided in the early 90's that Am. English is the English of choice.
we also use "Minutes" and ask "who will take minutes"?

Hmm...English is the language of choice...jour fixe is a french word...interesting.

Have I missed something? Are the French taking over again!?!?! Mon dieu!
In my student days "jour fixe" was something much more pleasant - for a bunch of us it was a Geneva equivalent of TT Curry night, en quelque sorte...

Routine Meeting- recurring meeting
Protocol - meeting minutes or just minutes

I think you really mean that they recognized American English as already being the clear global language of choice and that therefore any discussion of other languages, or of dying pre-cursors of American English, would be beyond ridiculous.

Thanks I_S - recurring meeting is good.
