When does the snow end in the mountains closest to Munich for Skiing? I plan to come in April and would to go if there are any still open - there where in France last year but I think where I went was a little higher than Austria/German slopes.

We were in Galtuer near Ischgl on the 2nd -4th April and it was definitely ski-able. Not huge amounts of anow but enough to ski. Icy snow in the mornings and was starting to soften by lunchtime and became really heavy late afternoon. I think they are still open. Takes about 2.5hrs from Munich.
