Today I read, Robert Hoyzer admitted fixing nine matches in 2004. For any avid follower of Bundesliga this is a shameful blow. I personally am loosing interest in all competitive sports. I'd rather watch bulky bullheads pretending to bang each other on WWF, would for least save me any anxiety fits.
Shame on the present form of competitive sports & all the bodies which manage them!

Haven't you heard about Brazil yet? The League officials there are considering repeating all the games reffed by this one guy who was on the take.

were they actually bundesliga matches - I thought they were mostly second div or cup games (although that is bad enough of course)

If you are an avid follower, this shouldn't be news, it came out in Jan/Feb this year.

Not to mention the cup game Paderborn-Hamburg which started the whole thing rolling. Hamburg got a cpl. million € damages and a portion of the revenue of the national against China. Otherwise, the DFL might have ended up having to re-do last year's cup competition from the 3rd round on (I think 3rd).
