Right then,
So there I am with the usual early evening distracted mind, taking the shoes of my daughter in the flat after our daily Tengelmann shopping trip.
Then the push chair looks like it has been bleeding. A trail of red spots and a huge puddle all over the floor in our stairway, waiting to be walked over. What I call a "crappening". Shit happens = crap happens = a crap thing happening.
There I am mopping the floor like a madman trying to get the stains away. The stuff smells like the wine I used to make in Saudi which I almost always used to drink before maturity. Mind you tasty - it had been in the Kingdom 14 years and was a Chablis. )When I had a bad batch I used to wash it down with Diet 7up.
Brings me to the alcohol we used to drink out there. We used to make gallons of wine then freeze it. Syphon that oiff then drink it with 7up. Quite tasty. We used to call this "Wandy" named after wine brandy.
Back to the red spots...
Mopping like a mad man to clean it all up. Horrible. Anyway the point of this post was...
Why don'T they put proper tops on the bottles? Scientific answers not needed, just similar rants. btw red Federweisser is tastier than white,

because it's still fermenting and the gas needs to escape. Sorry for the scientific answer there, but... are you saying you didn't notice that the tops aren't screwed on?

Suggest you screw a cap on top yourself or push in a cork, leave the bottle standing in the kitchen for a few days. I guarantee you will soon find out why they don't put caps on Federweisse...and there will be a lot more to mop up afterwards, too. You might even have to redecorate.
