I am trying to download songs on LimeWire and it is going sooooooooooo slow! Does anyone know how I can make it go quicker???

its cool i got it now! i was avoided the ones with big numbers, but those are the ones you have to go for.

You could also pay for it, instead of using the free version. That puts you to higher up the download queue...

also check your router and firewall setup. Sometimes that makes a huge difference. It made a big one for me when i got the port-forwarding all sorted. But then I use Azureus, not limewire.

Also if you are using lime wire...do a search for the PRO version - download, install and you can download at the upgraded turbo speed for free...

I just love the idea of using the software that the software designers designed to rip other people off to rip them off...If you get what I mean by that.

You don't think they are wise to this? - It's easy to identify incoming connections from non-authorized ("ripped off") clients and cripple then accordingly, at least to the level of the freeware version, possibly even worse, to serve you nasty software...

Yeah, I know. But it worked...and works so for me theres really no problem.

But how do you know? All you see is piece of software that appears to work. What's happening in the background is a different kettle of fish, especially on certain days of the month or year
