There are plenty of other sites for which archive.org doesn't provide any history after November 2004, so I don't think it's anything that Editor Bob has done.

S'true, mine stops in October 2004.

On the FAQ they say:

The TT Robots file prohibits substantial access to site from crawlers, especially the forums. Wayback biases it's archiving processes to sites that give it total freedom and away from sites disallowing partial access, especially if it represents substantial content of the site (which the forum certainly is). That's not to say the available stuff won't ever be archived, but biases against it...

Seems Edbob had high hopes for us back then?

I don't think Religion and Politics have ever involved much in the way of intellectual discussion round these parts. Not once the usual crew get going that is. That section would also need a "Conspiracy Theories" subforum to tie it together nicely.
