I've been making a shed load of bread, but unfortunatly since I got back from Edinburgh can't find the kneading paddle for my breadmaker anywhere. I've found various online shops in the states that sell them, but none here... in fact the bread maker itself was only 25E so possibly I should just buy another, but that would be rather annoying.
Does anyone know where I can buy one in Munich? Or online in Germany?
Or if anyone has a spare one I can have/buy/borrow I'd be interested...
This is what it needs to fit onto:

It's an AFK BM-2 as offered for sale by Wal-mart about 6 months ago. It looks a like this:

Was there no order form with the box, just in case of such situations? Mine had one with it for ordering extra paddles (ooh my!). If I can find it on the chaos of my desk, I'll give you the details. Think they cost around €5.

I've just checked the box and the manual, and there is no mention. Do you reckon the ones in your machine are the same size? I'll certainly order one (hell, two) if they are!

You could try contacting the manufacturer directly. I'm sure they have a website somewhere. Good luck!

I googled for that already. And I can't see it, maybe Ben will have better luck.

yeup... I think the manufacturer may go by different names in different countries. The manual has instructions in quite a few languages, but I can only find reference to the breadmaker in German.

OK... found their website:
http://www.afk-germany.de/index.phpbut it doesn't seem they do spares. I've emailed to ask -- will see what I get back!

That's exactly what I want - and couldn't find on the English side. Just have to hope they get some in I guess... Thanks though!

Any chance you left the paddles in the mixer and then ate them?

If you need a set from the states I can have them here in ~2 weeks, kostenlos.

Don't worry Ben, you'll pass them in a few days (if you did eat them).

well, as an update - paddle from the manufacture was about 5E + 5E p&p. Got the paddle from my other breadmaker sent over (it wasn't being used) and that works just great. Breadagogo again.
