Hi,
I'm a first time mom who moved to Munich a few months ago, and I'm due in mid May. I was wondering if there are other future moms out there who would like to go for a coffee, or get together and chat? It would be nice to meet up.

I'm interested. Due in February. Afternoons are best for me. Welcome to Munich!

Hello,
I'm also a first time mom due in February. I'm interested in meeting up for coffee, walking or chating. I live just outside Munich but I could take the train in anytime during the morning or afternoon.

Another first timer here. I'd love to meet up as well-- my official due date is Jan 30.
I work full time though, so I could only meet in the evenings or weekends until I start my maternity leave (in the middle of December).

Hi!
How would meeting on the afternoon of Thursday the 20th be? We could pick a coffee spot, or walk by the Isar? I'm kind of new here -- anybody else have some suggestions?
Best,

Something must be in the water here!
I'm another first time mum (due in April). I would love to meet up with other mums-to-be. I currently have German class Mon-Thurs, 2-5.15, so meeting outside those times would suit me better.

Hi there,
Thursday the 20th sounds good to me. I don't know Munich that well yet so I'm not really sure of a meeting place to suggest. A central location might be a good idea. I look forward to meeting everyone.

Hi,
Actually, after reading everyone's posts, it looks like several people work or go to school through the week until the early evenings. Would it be better to choose an afternoon during the weekend?

hi,
while I'm happy to meet on weekends, for me during the week is better, in part because my husband and I have so much to do on the weekends (he travels during the week for business). Anyway, could we maybe try for a late-afternoon (6 pm) coffee or maybe for dinner, if that suits people's schedule better?

Hi
A 6pm time suits me. I don't know too many places to go in Munich. However I have been to
Cafe Glockenspiel (in Marienplatz) and
Cafe Puck (Tuerkenstr, U-Bahn Universitaet) and I would recommend both - decent menus, and the staff understand my dodgy German, or speak English. :-) But I am happy to broaden my horizens and go elsewhere if there are other suggestions.

Hi,
Yes, 6PM also sounds good to me. I just looked at the website for the Cafe Glockenspiel. I've never been there but it looks like a nice place to sit and visit.

It *is* a nice place to sit and visit, and hopefully at that time of the day they'll have plenty of room for us. Let's meet at 6 on Thursday at the Cafe Glockenspiel -- to get up there you need to take an elevator located in a little passage next to that Sushi place, Sasou, right before all that construction. If some of us can't make it to this time, we'll let somebody else schedule the next meeting, and hopefully most of us can make it to coffee when we want to!

I can most likely make it on Thursday. I'm supposed to have a telephone conference with someone in California at 6:30, but I can probably change it to another day.
Anyone else able to make it then?

Hi, I am also a first time mom with a March due date. Unfortunately, I can't make it this week but would like to join the next time you meet up.

Hi all,
I would really love to meet up sometime in the future - I'm due early May, also a first-timer - unfortunately I can't make this one as I'm away in Delhi until mid-end November. I'll keep a look-out for the next event. Have fun on Thursday, nice to know there's so many of us!

Hi Ladies,
I'm not a mom-to-be, but I thought I would point out
this offer for a stroller in the classified section of Toytown. Looks like a good deal to me. Maybe of use to you or another pregnant friend, who knows?

HI Everyone,
This stroller is a FANTASTIC deal! Peter is selling himself short with the price. I just bought this stroller on ebay ( brand new) for 4x's what he is asking. Just an FYI! If you need a double stroller as I did ( do) you can buy an additional seat for this stroller! It is an amazing deal at 60 Euros. If I wasn't 8 months pregnant and had more energy, I would buy it from Peter and sell it myself on ebay!
