Shalwar khameez - is that the preferred spelling

I know what it is and I have a couple, I just can't spell it. Alternatives?

Salwaar Kameez (Punjabis) is how Silkroad spells it, but I wonder if that's a Germanized spelling.

Google seems to favour "Salwar Kameez".

Salwaar Kameez sounds closer although there are slight regional and linguistic variations
