The Germans are pretty nuts about vacation, and now that I have some free time, I'd like to take adv. of being in Europe... I already bought my eurorail pass, I'd just like to find a good agency that has some package deals (eastern europe/balkans). However, I'm always afraid that if I settle for one deal, I'll see a better one 5 minutes later.
Any suggestions?

http://www.traveloverland.de isn't really the place for package deals, but they can find very good flight deals.
Things like
lastminute.de aren't bad for finding package deals. If you shop around, you'll find that there usually isn't that much difference in the bottom line, you just have to find a decent place that you are happy with and use them.

try also
Expedia. A lot depends on flights, but I know that sometimes you can get really good hotel deals if you purchase a package.

I'm an American Travel agent living in Bavaria. All our prices are in US$ and don't change with the Euro rate. Shoot me an email where you want to go and your budget. Tmarble@destinationagent.com

I need to book some cheap airline tickets (intercontinental trip) and am wondering if anyone can recommend travel agents or booking services that are particulalry good at finding cheap flights. Any suggestions?
Also, I see lots of Tui-affiliated travel agencies everywhere -- if you go to one, is it the same thing as going to another, or does the service vary between agencies?

Hello all.
Probably this has been discussed before... if so please point me to the correct thread.
If not, I would be very happy to hear your opinions on the best websites or other sources for cheap flights or last-minute getaways from Munich. Anyone found great deals or consistently good offers?
Flights out of Munich seem soooo bloody expensive compared to some other European cities (like Geneva, for instance).
Thanks in advance.
cheers.

When I don't book directly through the airlines, I do most of my travel booking via Michael and the team at
Just Travel.

Who do you think has to pay for the Travel agents offices? Forget about travel agents. Go to opodo.de or lastminute.de You'll get a cheaper deal.
