Right - my plan would be tomorrow to take the 7.19 train from Hauptbahnhof to Immenstadt (Allgäu) and go on from there (no concrete plans yet, but there are a few nice tours there, I believe, possibility to do a few climbs or circuits). I have maps and the plan could be decided on during the train journey (arrival at Immenstadt at 9.10).
Other option would be to take the 7.42 train to get to Kufstein (arrival there at 9:03, provided there are no suicide attempts which delayed me for an hour the last time ...) and then cycle up to Bayrischzell and from there either over Sudelfeldpass and back down to the Inntal and into the Chiemgau, or cycle to Schliersee and then up to Spitzingsee and on from there.
Something like 1000-1500 m climbing and 100-150km are in my mind.
Any takers?
Would be great but I still have this sodding cold... Have fun anyways...

You guys ever take GPS tracks of the runs?
PM me if you do.

Change the date to 15 October -- this coming Saturday.
My plan is the following:
7.19 ALEX train from Hauptbahnhof to Kempten, from there embark on a 140 km, 1000 m altitude course through the Allgäu, going into Tannheimer Tal in Austria as well.
Weather forecast is very good.
Anyone care to join in? Meeting would be the latest at 7.10 at Hauptbahnhof, platforms 27-31 (aka "Starnberger Bahnhof").
Depending on how I feel on Saturday evening (and if I have permission from my wife) I might embark on another ride on Sunday,

Forgot to say: no GPS data of the tours, sorry.
(What is wrong with maps? they weigh less ...)

@markus
Did you go on Sat.? If so, how was it?

I did go on Saturday - fantastic weather, albeit a bit cold (there was frost on the grass in the Allgäu).
I cycled from Kempten south towards Sonthofen (backroads only - very little traffic), then along the Bundesstraße (wide cycle path or parallel small road) to Bad Hindelang. Unfortunately, the Oberjochpaß was shut due to some sort of antique car rallye, so I cycled up to the Giebelhaus and further up towards an Alm (some nasty ascents with 15% in there, though). From there back the same way, but not all the way to Kempten but to Immenstadt, back by train again.
In total: 95km and 1100m. Definitely worth it, would have been nice to be able to do a form of a circuit, though. Must try that another time.
Anyhow - if the weather is still OK next Saturday, I'll go again for something long(ish), but probably a bit closer to Munich (maybe a trip Kufstein to Lenggries or Kochel via Ursprungpaß, Sptzingsattel, Wechsel, Rottach-Egern, Achenpaß. Or something like that.

Sounds like a nice trip, some good training for the cross-country ski racing this winter?
I am missing riding since the baby arrived. I haven't been on my bike in over 3wks, I did move it however while getting the baby bed out of the cellar
