German equivalents of the UK's Autotrader

Moonboot
I will be selling my car to a friend soon and want to work out its value.
is there an online equivalent to the UK's AUTOTRADER that has a value calculator?
just want a rough guide to what it's worth.

thanks IL!
I have to pay 7€ for that one though..anyone know if there are there any free ones?

Moonboot, it is well worth paying the €7. Schwacke is the bible of the used motor trade in Germany. Every dealer has one.

If you want to get a rough idea of the worth of a car for free, check on mobile.de and Autoscout24.de. Notice that there will be a difference in price between private sales and those which are for dealers/export only.

ta OG.

blimey...just put 'Fahrzeugbewertung' in Yahoo.de...only two sites appear: Schwacke comes up as does AUTOSCOUT24...tried AS24 and it just provides a link to Schwacke!!! what a monopoly!

ah well, Autotrader (for free!) says £2000 which is approx. €3000.
that'll do me.

This will actually give you a better idea of your car's value than Schwacke. If you have e.g. an older but cute intact convertible or sports car, Schwacke will list that well under what you could get for it, whereas large limousines will be listed higher than what you'll actually get for it.

coo ta for that link Keydeck, you're a star!

almost similar motor to the Jomobile is going for 3650€ have printed the page out.

Back to the original title; does anyone know any car newspapers/magazines for trading in 2nd hand cars, especially for 'specialist' cars like pimped-up Audis? Not the online ones like auto.de or autoscout24.de though.
