High-end car audio and navigation systems

Where to buy and install in Munich

Hi All,

I've searched quite a few threads on PDA navigations systems and home electronics. Nothing really described what I was looking for.

Does anyone have advice on where to buy high end car audio systems, and where they also install? Saturn and Media Markt have decent selections but do they install car audio? Has anyone ever had this done?

Looking for a decent CD/DVD deck with navigation. Will probably buy a few speakers as well but would like them installed. Any good places to go? Thanx

Yes and No.

I bought from there but had it installed by my local garage. Reason being that at the time I didn't have the German to figure out what Saturn were offering in terms of installation. They do it though.

See Saturn website

Not at all, I'm still clueless. When I said that I didn't have the German to figure it out I meant Badger. I was kinda single when I bought the stereo.

I want to buy some car audio stuff whilst over here, I have looked in Saturn / Conrad but there choice isnt too great. I tried searching on the internet for german online shops for car audio but didnt find anything decent sad.gif

Does anyone have any links to good website\'s? (Especially if they stock Infinity gear biggrin.gif)

Looks ok at the quality of the job from the pics, one thing I have noticed is that you cant see what make the equipment he is using is. Make sure if you do go there he doesnt fill your car with ICE which is loud but cheap as the SQ will be crap especially after 6-8 months of use.

So no other links to online stores then?

When i spoke to them they did sound ok, but than again what does that tell me. Basicly i have ordered a new car and i am still looking at where to shop for car hifi. So if you do find something post it up here.

Cheers.
