If all else fails MLB baseball has a deal to watch via internet. It does not look bad I might sign up for it.

The games are on NASN so they should be showing at the Arc. Of course that is once they get their box fixed that had some problems over the weekend.

I just contacted the people at The Arc, and they are still having problems with their satellite box. So they WON'T show the game today. The earliest it will be fixed is thursday.

It's funny, you never see posts here from people supporting other MLB teams - just the Red Sox! Red Sox Nation lives! It's a sickness, I tell you!

Meaning White or Red, in which case I'll bet you anything the Sox will also loose.

Its a bet!
You give me a Million if the Sox win and I give you a Million if the Sox lose. You think that we could secure a loan on this bet in advance of the game?

I have been watching the games on www.mlb.com. I have enjoyed them but let it be known that the screen is small. Still, it beats radio!

Maybe the teams we support don't give us anything to cheer about...in my case, Texas Rangers

As I posted on the weekend, I am just happy that the White Sox ended their skid and stuck it to Cleveland simply because of the one Gentleman at the Arc who was taking the piss out of me...just before the Pale House swept the Indians out of the playoffs. Not to mention the Cubs fans who were pelting my e-mailbox with choke e-mails. Ah...sports Karma is beautiful.
BTW...is it just me...or does Johnny Damon's head look as gigantic as Ken Griffey's head on the Simpson when he keeps drinking the cool-aid? "He's got a head like Sputnik!"
Go Go White Sox!!!
Too bad that Comiskey Park no longer is...
A Fenway - Comiskey series would be lovely...
Just read that on
www.mlb.con the games are only shown after they end.

@PES,
While I am a life-long Sox fan (while my other 5 siblings are Cubs fans), I have to admit that the Old Comiskey park was just awful, aside from the scoreboard. So many obstructed view seats and just not a nice place to see a game. I admit that Wrigley is the best place for baseball, in my book.
I am still waiting for someone to say where the game could be watched. I have an early flight tomorrow, but would love to see the Chi Sox go 1-0 to start the series.
True enough. Wrigley is a enchanting park. I am now pissed that
www.mlb.com has a blackout on TV coverage!
I am one of six and all of us are Bosox fans (but then again the next closest team was in NYC or Toronto).
Wait! There's hope yet (I only hope my subscription covers it):

I did this last year and was able to watch all the games live, with a delay of only 30 seconds to a minute. That's close enough to live for me!

Oooohhh... 14:2 defeat for the Red Sox... Nasty...
But I remember they had a similar hefty defeat against the Yankees during their series last play-off and turned it around so never say never..
The White Sox seem pretty unbeatable now though...

Bunch of fucking bums, the Red Sox have been this series. If my roommate hadn't broken his hand by punching a wall earlier in the week and shown that it's not a good idea, I would have done the same thing last night. Fucking pathetic showing.
It's ok, only 85 more years...
Chicago
Oct 6 2005, 5:19 pm
2005 - 1917 = 88 years since the last time the White Sox won even a postseason series. The southsiders have waited longer than those from southy.

YAY!!! Biggest Red Sox fan!!! Last year I wore a red sox cap and a t-shirt saying "Yankees Suck" in NYC on the night they won... luckily I'm a girl..but I swear some of those guys were really close to beating me up. Anyways, would love to get into the game on Sat or Sun (will the Arc show the games?). Hope all you dieheart fans will be there (if, again they get shown) - AND I MEAN RED SOX!!!.
BTW, worked in a Hospital in Boston this summer, in the IVF section where Kevin Millar (FAVORITE player) got his twins 'made'. (don't worry, I am allowed to say that because you can find this info - which hospital he got it done - online as well..the rest is secret

@Juli_e,
I am sorry to inform you, but the chance that there is a game on Saturday or Sunday is as likely as Johnny Damon being accepted to MIT's graduate progam. White Sox break out the brooms tonight

and then I will do what all Chicago fans do to celebrate...set my own car on fire!!!

Oct 7 2005, 10:39 pm
Oh wait a minute, 4th inning and its 2 - 2 ??? Hm, how could that be? Am I telling you that the Red Sox have just caught up with two (2!!!) consecutive homeruns?? (Imagine the bases being loaded with Manny and Big Papi up...this could mean harm to those poor little White Sox

)
Anyways, hope the fans keep up the cheering (Kevin Millar asked them to be the good old Red Sox fans..and hey, it always works - yes I know everyone else hates us, but it works!)
Oh and by the way, I worked at MIT a year ago, cloning mice. Fun fun, but yeah, didn't really see one of our cute "Idiots" there...(and as I speak Damon does a double...this is really fun to watch!!!)
4-3 White sox...

First off, the Red Sox play in the Fens, not Southie.

If you were refering to my 'only 85 more years', that was meaning how long red sox fans have to wait for another world series, since we waited 86 for the last one, we'll have to wait another 86 (now 85).
Anyways, good luck to Chicago, I'd love to see another long wait come to an end. Now it's your turn.

Shit
@Julie; a wait of over 80 years was shitty. Tying the Yanks for the best record this year in the East was great. The Chi series was hard, but I don't think we have to wait so long this time. Root for the Pats!
