This is more an interest check and a request for information, than anything.
I have done some googling, and it looks like there is no field or hall to paintball in Munich. There is a hall in Straubing and in Regensburg.
Anyone know any better? I fancy gunning down some Toytowners.

Strange, I'd been told that Paintball was banned here in Germany.
Otherwise I'd love to do it.

its baned in germany. too many right wing groups were using them as training for thre forth reich. their parol was no longer blut und boden, but became paintballs and power.

I'm interested as well, purely in the interest of male bonding obviously.
It hasn't been banned, the calibre of legal paintball weapons has been regulated.

There was an old thread on this I am sure. Didnt someone want to organise a paintball trip to the Czech Republic?

I'm pretty sure you can still do it in Germany´- a friend of my husband's was talking about organising a group to do it a while ago... it had a stupid name... will post later when I find out what it was.
Edit: O.k, so they call it Gotcha. In true German fashion. Apparently the guns are a different calibre to the ones used for paintball in the UK, but the principle is the same.
Found this link, with a list of all paintball organisers in Munich and the area.
Paintball in and around Munich. A google search for gotcha münchen came up with a bunch of results...

Yeti - do you have a gun licence?

The way Yeti shoots, I'd bagsy him first for my team.
However, I'm not interested (just to make it clear). I get flashbacks from Byker Grove from when PJ and Duncan went paintballing, and someone shot PJ after he took off his glasses, then he went blind

Paintball is not banned in Germany!!! It is only restricted to authroised fields/halls run by companies who must also takeout huge insurance...
Softair guns (Look dam close to the real thing) are also not banned, but they are regulated. Battery powered and pump guns are limited to .5-1 joule, while gas powered rifels are limited to 1-3 joule. But again you can only use them witin your own house ??? or at Authroized companies/fields/halls...
Paint ball is messy and if you play "in the red" (Not Authroized location) you don't want to leave colored trees around telling everybody what was going on whould you? Which is where Airsoft comes in. Airsoft uses plastic BB type balls (Snipper Riffles can use metal BB's) so there remains no traces of what went on.
If yall are up for some Softair in Pearllacher/Ebersberg forrest after 1700
or so then we could deff. have something going.

Was Bubblylady I think mate - and yes, was hours away by bus just over the Czech border. The upside was the opposing team comprises entirely of naked ladies for you to shoot at - any you hit you can shag afterwards.

Just think, the sting of a paintball at 200 mph, splatting on her bare ass. OUCH! that leaves a nice little welt. Plus, she will feel that ass sting for a few days.

the field over the czech border is fantastic. been there last year. it is enourmous and offers all kinds of different terrain. service is professional and costs are okayish. I believe it was 65€ for the equipment rental, meal, 200 shots and the night in the barracks. youll need extra rounds so total cost will be around 80-90euros.

Ok, ladies, wear protection. If you haven't got any then make the paintballing people give you some. I went once and got shot all over and we ladies weren't given anything to cover our tender parts. The bruises you get afterwards are corkers. They are big, black and blue bumps the size of the paintballs themselves.
Ouch!

I've only played paintball indoors - I might be interested in playing it outdoors. But if it's not soonish, I think I'll wait until the spring to play. Getting shot at while hiding in the snow and cold is a little too realistic for my taste.

Why don`t you all go and do what I did a few times in my wasted youth, go and get shot at for real. You`ll find your taste for this sort of crap goes straight out the window no error. Guns are dangerous ( any kind of gun)

and should not be used to play Macho-Crap games.

You did a little bit - fair enuff though, sir - you're entitled to your opinion. Have to say though - it wasn't really guns that killed your mates, so much as the people who pulled the trigger (be that by accident or by design).
