Hello everyone,
so i am not sure if i should have posted this under "Oktoberfest", but anyways...so i just realized i have the outfit but not the shoes. the thing is i am only going for probably one day, since i am out of town for most of Oktoberfest, so i do not want to invest money in the shoes as well. but still, i am just wondering, what are the "traditional" shoes for the ladies to wear? and what do some of you gals wear? i guess i will have a look in my closet...
(i suppose my comfort is the only thing that matters in this, since i am sure after a couple mass people's eyes don't travel below the dirndl-ed breast area!)
thank you!!

wear trainers that you dont mind getting trashed... traditionally they have normal black high heels with it being rounded at the front... but most i know go for trainers.. cause its easier to continue standing up in
Moonboot
kinky boots!

Said to a mate today, how I had started finding women dressed in a drindl attractive, I said to him all i need now is for one to wear a pair of boots (my other fetish lol) god help that woman if i see her this weekend

Shiny reflective ones work well too.

I'm personally not so keen on the trainers but flat shoes are a good idea.
Why?
Because beer makes you unsteady on your feet as it is, why try and cripple yourself with heels?
And think of the mud if it is raining (ain't called the Wies'n for no reason).
Mary-jane, rounded toe ballerinas or simple low-heeled court shoes do the trick. Even loafers can work. Many wear shoes with fancy lacing or buckles.
Those Trachten-style low-heeled boots are also popular, a blockier heel really is a good idea.
As for kinky boots, I change into them at home - well, home use innit!

Do you have a pair of Doc Marten's? Sorted...

oy, what to do, what to do? i do have plenty of boots of all sorts, stilettos and platform and...i'm a bit of imelda marcos when it comes to shoes
but i will have to agree that comfort, rain-mud-puke-resistant shoes are a priority. now, if i only had those...
thank you for the suggestions though!

There is a great shoe store next to the Comedy Club's place (whose name escapes me at the moment - and still 1 1/2 hours to go!) in Ruppertstrasse with so-called Haferlshuhe - low, thick-soled leather shoes in brown, black and dark green which will help you keep steady and protect you from any broken glass lying around. Don't forget the hand-knit scratchy grey socks.

I'm giddy because I just bought a purple Dirndl and today looking through my closet found a pair of purple Doc Marten mary janes that I had forgotten I even had!

It is your destiny.

I always wear knee high boots with my dierndl... then I can keep stuff down my boots like a comb, makeup brush, lippy, etc and no one knows. ... well apart from all of you now! Its a longer dierndl so you dont see the boots...well not until I start playing air guitar with my legs!!

That way, with the rest, more valuable stuff tucked into the non-existant space in my bra, I dont need to take a bag or anything
More tea, Vicar?

Rain? Beer puddles?

It really needs to be a nice pair of these then:
