Do you mean the series when you say the film?
There is also a film, but I think it's a zombie piss-take film afaik.
I only saw 1 episode when visiting a friend in London, and I think it's similar to The Fast Show where you have to watch a few to really get into it.

Actually the film was already in Munich over the summer, but I missed it. It was shown at either Cinema or one of the City cinemas for the Fantasy Filmfest.

I don't understand this talk of a "film coming to Munich".
What film?
There is no film, is there?
The League of Gentlemen was a British TV series. There were three series made, each with, erm, 6 (I think) episodes.
There is a film called
The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen but this is a totally different thing. It stars Sean Connery and isn't a comedy at all.
EDIT: ok, just saw there was a feature film released in June this year called
The League of Gentlemen's Apocalypse

Apocalypse is already "available" if you "search"
The League of Gentlemen is played in the town of " Roysten Vasey" which is actually Roy Chubby Browns' real name.
