Hello,

I have arrived very recently in Munich and I am having a hard time finding "the places to go". I usually like chill/lounge bars with the same type (chill /lounge )music.

I have only found a place so far, but the music is not that good and that is the news cafe...

Where in munich can I go ans listen to stuff like (Zero 7/Air /Gothan Project/Thievery Co./Masive attack).

All suggstions are really appreciated...need a place to start my nights out

Thanks
canuck
Präger Frühling might be OK for that...ask Pao he should know.

Not sure about PF - Brik (on Schelling Str) can play some quite chilled stuff IIRC - especially during the week. Pao, Hellcat and I, back in the day, used to have the odd Helles in there on a Thursday night. Beyond that there's that place on Leopoldstr - the 'Green Room'. That has quite a chilled vibe, but I'm not sure about the music choice in there - it's been a long time.

Hi,

I'm also looking for such places (and maybe also people to go there with). Any other advice?

Thanks in advance! laugh.gif

Die Bank I guess has the kinda atmosphere your looking for. Nice big bar with great sofas, those funny water pipes, and chillout róoms upstairs.

- Barfly
- Lemachs on wednesday night
- go to Munchen Frihiet(wrong spelling) a few bars to chill out

There are a few others around Kalsplatz but I forgot.

P1 is definetly the coolest lounge I have been to in Munich so far. Have been there twice on Sundays, and got in without a problem each time. The second time, I even wore jeans. It's quite upscale and pricey though, so don't plan to get drunk there, unless you want to spend at least a couple hundred euros.
