Rusticana - Best ribs in Munich

Rusticana has some of the best ribs I've ever had. When anybody (from the US) comes here from our company on business they always go to Rusticana's. I haven't had the ribs anywhere else in Munich and don't care to. Rusticana's is small so a reservation is highly recommended. Ribs are 12 euro and in good portions. I would be interested in seeing if there are any negative experiences. The steaks are also good, angus beef from South America. Website is http://www.rusticana.de.

I think this is old news but accurate news. Actually, I don´t like to see cause their ribs be so nice and plentiful and a bit secret. Tip. forget the side order taters or stuff, do a rib order only. you won´t have room fer nuttin else. Thanks to Profundo who clued me in on this place.
take care,

Went there a couple of weeks ago. Had the ribs, top tucker. Im not a American so cant compare to US style ribs but they were very good. The problem we found was that the service was very slow. Both in being able to place our initial order and then we waited a long time for the food to arrive. I mentioned this and was told it was because they were busy. Right, the usual thing, although as a seasoned eater-outer, it didnt strike me as particularly busy at all. So Id recommend it for the food but be prepared to wait and wait.

I have been there dozens of times since I arrived in Munich. It's popular with BMW crowd. They have pretty good steak but the ribs are fabulous. As for the service, yes, it's a little on the slow side but they like to see your mouth water went the table next to yours gets their ribs.

Well worth the trip.

I hate astroturf and will now avoid this restaurant as a result even though it looked like the best choice for ribs under the Restaurants: American section. Fucking spammers. Kill yourselves.

Uses a name similar to a known member, posts a single comment about a restaurant which hasn't been mentioned for more than a year when profundo wrote a comment, adds marketing ("The steaks are also good, angus beef from South America") which you actually have to search for on their shitty site which was probably designed by the owner's 12-year-old nephew.

Make me an editor already so that I can wear out my Delete key the way I've already done to my Any key.

woof.

Whoa BadDoggie, take it easy. Is that too much or not enough coffee? Careful, your paranoia is showing.

One: User names are often similar. Kit, Kat, Kit Kat, Kitkat, Kitkat64, Kitty-kat as an extreme example.

Two: A restaurant which hadn't been mentioned in over a year means that one doesn't automatically see anything about them. And it was only in the guide, not in a post. Being a newbie, the search function may have escaped him.

Three: I have made extra comments about food in a restaurant too. Does this make me a fucking spammer too?

Four: The website is slow to load, but it's not that crappy. Stragula's website isn't anthing to write home about either. dry.gif

Five: You being an editor on Toytown would be like letting Adolf Eichmann be in charge of the Jewish family planning committee. A bad idea.

Why did u read the post Doggie? It was clear from my topic what it was about. I am new to the Munich and to the site. Why do you have to be such an A$$. I had read someone's post about the American Rib House and was giving a response. Being new to the site, I didn't post it correctly.

Relax a little alright.
