Try asking nicely at your nearest bycyle shop. For a few Euros they will let you have one that another new bycycle has been delivered in.
From a man that knows nothing about bikes I might add.

Also, check at the airport. I suggest ringing their information service. I seem to remember something about a packing service for bikes out there.

@keydeck: IIRC they change you for the bike packing service at the airport, and while doing that they probably don't let you tie all sorts of other things to the bike to allow the full 23kg weight limit (not that I'd ever do a thing like that).
@zorro: the boxes occasionally get damaged. if you have any loose bits in the box tape them to the frame of the bike. Also, if you can, tape over the ends of the wheel axles before you put them in the box. They punch through the box wall in some situations and it's happened to me a couple of times now that they get snapped off somewhere between checkin and baggage claim.

Go to the Bianchi store on Nymphenberger Strasse. It depemds what sort of bike you have but they stock road and mountain bikes so they should have one that will suit you. I got one from them for free, but I did buy my bike from there and they knew me but I'm sure if you ask nicely they'll sort you out.
BTW what I got from them was a Larege cardboard box but it was good enopugh for taking on the plane.

You might ask them to pack it for you. I had my road bike packed by a bike shop once and it was all bubble wrapped in places where it could get scratched(well, the frame) and extra stuff on the wheel hubs, take off the cranks and pedals(or at a minimum, the pedals) and turn the handlebars, etc.

I think you can rent bike boxes from that specialist sports bike shop out in Westend. Can't remember the name if it. Prorad?

Well I got a bike box from Small Town Boy but it looks like I may not be needing it now. I am going to go to the airport again next week to double check, but it looks like I will be better off without it.
Thus if anyone needs it, please let me know or it gets thrown away.

If you still haven't found one. Shoot me a message. I've got a couple of extras. As a bike fanatic I keep a few on hand. When I first got here I asked a couple of shops and was told that they're charged for the boxes unless they recycle them. So, when a new bike arrives, I keep the box.
