Concert: Wilco @ Backstage

Is somebody going to the Wilco concert next wednesday at Backstage?

Great band and I would love to see them. but I planned my vacation during this time. To me this is THE CONCERT of the year!!!

That's really a pity. I think that they are one of the best american bands of the moment.

Me, yogi_bear, InflatableWoman and Tenn are going.

I'm going with a few friends. I saw them years ago while Jay Bennet was still in the group - it will be interesting to see Nels Cline playing now (saw him with the Geraldine Fibbers years ago too).

I'll be there. Wilco is great. Thus my screen name. I see them every chance I get. I Last saw two of there Shows in New Orleans at Jazz Fest this year.

I'm meant to be going: ordered my tickets from eventim.de well over a week ago and the haven't bloody arrived, grr!!! Have tried to get in contact with them a number of times but they haven't got back, grr!! So I'll be turning up with my friends with no bloody tickets, they best be reserved on the door as I've paid for them grr!!!

but I saw them in March at Rock City & they're probably the best band I've seen to date...even if I do get pissed about with tickets...

I definitely want to go - can advance tickets be bought other than online?

Yeah, it was a great show. Quite different from their earlier albums - I heard a bit of prog rock & even a bit of a zepplin sound. The version of Via Chicago they played was amazing.

Yeah it was good, shame they didn't play "Something in the Air" for an encore...so I managed to get in ok in the end, without the tickets...they saw that I had paid and the booking confirmation etc. and took pity on us...which was nice...
