German Sheppard Dog training
Has anyone had their dogs trained here?
I'm considering bringing over my 3 year old German Sheppard and would be pursuaded more if I can find a good trainer that could work with us. Perhaps 3 years old is already too old for training, I'm not real sure. But if anyone has dealt with dog trainers, especially sheppard trainers, please let me know your experience. Thanks!
It's a funny old world sometimes.
My father was given a German Shepherd pup as a gift in 1972 by a Bavarian breeder who had relocated to Oxfordshire. She trained him how to train the dog. The dog (Odin) and my dad won the British Tracker Dog of The Year 1974 competition, beating 14 Police Forces. Dad still sits up and begs if you mention biscuits. Sadly Odin died of a ruptured spleen on my first wedding day in 1983.
