Steel-toed work boots

Anyone know where I can get a pair of steel-toed work boots here in Munich? A store with a good selection?

I've seen them in Obi. Can't comment on the quality though. I'm more of a trainers man.

There's a Marlboro store in Munich (can't remember the exact location). They generally carry some good quality boots - both of the cowboy variety and the work boot variety. If you are looking for quality, I would stick to stores which carry Country & Western gear. There are several in Munich and Nürnberg (though I can't remember names off the top of my head). PM me if you need more info and I'll try to pull out some receipts for details.

there are many stores that sell "working" clothes, like the blue overalls, safety shoes etc as well as standardised "uniforms". Try looking in the yellow pages under "Arbeitskleidung" or "Berufsbekleidung"

the link above came up with one result on Bahnhofplatz called "Stahl Berufsbekleidung". On their web site they advertise safety shoes "Sicherheitsschuhe" (although no piccies).
