New Year's Eve 2002

What's everyone planning for NY? We were nearly shot at M. Freiheit last year so I might give that one a miss this time around. Maybe I'll just stay in with a paper hat and one of those things that you blow and makes a funny noise (please, get your mind out of the gutter Aquatic)...

Haven't decided yet. Only today found out that I will have a job at the start of next year and so can actually book a return flight. I've decided not to stay in Ireland for New Years and do something else instead. At the moment it's likely to be Munich, Vienna or Marbella.

I'd be interested to know what people are intending if here in Munich as it'd be my first time in all the time I've lived here to be actually in the country for it.

As an aside, last year a mate of mine almost got arrested at Marienplatz for getting into the back of a police car and saying his address. The cops clearly saw that he was off his trolley and shouted at him that it wasn't a taxi. As they started to pull away his opened the back door and tried to get in again. That did not go down well with the local plod.

I'll be in Munich, but I have no idea what I'll be doing. Maybe we could organise a Toytown get-together if there are enough of us around.
