Oh, I did a search on handy and you would not believe the posts that came up - Bad Sex?, The Best Beer Gardens in Munich? etc.
Oh well. Here's my question:
My handy contract is coming up for renewal and I want to get a new one that has the same functions as my Palm organizer - you know, address, data book, games, etc. However, I do not want all this other stuff - Bluetooth, etc which will be more work for me. I just do not want to deal with all that crap. There are about 15 different handys out there that have all this shit.
Has anyone had any experiences with this recently and can recommend a handy to me?
Thanks!

@Kitkat64, It's becoming a standard that 'the other shit', i.e. bluetooth and such are already integrated into the cellphones...you can't really escape it. Nokia 6630 or 6680's good, but I'm biased, because I'm a Nokia fan. Otherwise go and have a look at
www.gsmarena.com You might find some useful tips there.

you don't notice if a handy has blue tooth or infra-red etc unless you need these functions. They do not make it any more complicated. Get one of the Nokias mentioned above, very good phones.

Wee Mun's right. I've been using 6630 myself since March and I have to tell you that it's excellent. 6680's good too but the UI's a bit slower than 6630 since the 6680's screen is of a higher resolution than 6630, so it takes a tad more time.

6680 is alright but only stores limited data on appoinments. Be careful. Also the sw is not so stable yet.

kitkat. Your search results don't surprise me one bit since "handy" is a german word, despite the evidence.

Yes, I was thinking that if people responded to 'The Best Beer Gardens in Munich' they might have said 'oh let's meet at one' and then said 'Here's my HANDY number'.
Good info about Nokia. That was one of the options.
I will check out that website mentioned above.
