Well then,
We have found out that we get a boy next January.
Anyone any ideas for names? Celtic, Welsh or Irish? Scottish?

What the hell...congratulations Jeremy!
This is a cool site which also tells you the meanings of the names:
Celtic Baby NamesOf course if you Google the world is your oyster of baby names.
I personally have known lots of guys called Ronan & Liam but those names don't even appear on that particular list. Something different is always nice (provided you are allowed to name your child something different...those silly German rules about naming...

Owain (who of course would buy you a drink every he time he saw you for the rest of your life if you named the baby after him)

yeah thats a nice name as well BR but it would normally be Meridith for a boy (girls version is Meredydd) but i suppose there are often different spellings of names.
Edit: I like Aneurin as well Topsy but kids can be mean and at my school one kid got his name shortened to Urin. (even though Aneurin is not pronounced anything like Urin; An-eye-rin as opposed to You-rin)
